Dimitra Turner MSc, Neurodevelopmental Practitioner and Autism Service Co-ordinator

    What is my experience?

With over a decade of experience, I am a dedicated practitioner with an educational background in Psychology and Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. I’ve worked in diverse settings such as schools, family homes, supported living and residential facilities within multidisciplinary teams. I am dedicated to empowering autistic children and adults and my focus is understanding and supporting the unique needs and strengths of each individual. I work in a person-centred way to emphasise the importance of recognising and harnessing individual strengths while addressing support needs.

    How would I describe myself?

I have a friendly and a laid-back demeanour. Being neurodivergent, I am dedicated to nurturing environments where everyone feels free to embrace their true selves without fear of judgment. Valuing the insights of the autistic community, I actively engage in listening and learning, striving to implement their perspectives into my efforts to provide inclusive and supportive services that celebrate neurodiversity.
